Who Are We?

Private Chefs that work independently to service small catering events, food service events, and teach private cooking lessons/demonstrations. We also do dietary counseling/healthy meal planning. We are currently based in Huntsville, Alabama, however, we do travel to various locations.

 

Our Executive Chef Davina Jenee has 18 years of experience as a Culinarian and has worked with some of the best in the culinary industry, including Master Chef Wolfgang Puck. Graduated with top honors from Le Cordon Bleu and is Servsafe Certified.

Our meals are for people that want to sometimes take a break when it come to preparing a meal for the family. But on the other hand, they still want the good old home cooking taste of a fresh home cooked meal.

Jenee Le Cuisines is in business to create the structure and systems needed to allow our customers access to freshly prepared food made with the best quality of ingredients.

Most people ask us what do we like to cook? 
We say EVERYTHING!!! Each culture provides our chefs with a chance to learn, explore, and challenge their culinary skills. So we enjoy any challenge our clients bring to us.

How Did You Decide To Get In Your Line Of Work?

All of our Chefs have had a long love affair for creating delicious food since they were children. All of us are professionally trained, are Servsafe  Certified and have worked with a few big celebrity Chefs in our field.

Describe The Most Common Types Of Jobs You Do For Your Clients.

We do a lot of private cooking lessons both individual and groups, small event catering, demonstrations, and we've worked with clients that are on special diets in helping them put together healthy meal plans with recipes.

Tell Us About A Recent Job You Did That You Are Particularly Proud Of.

We had the privilege of promoting and selling some of the items from our online store at the Latham UMC farmers market in Huntsville, Alabama. We got a chance to meet new people, experience new local produce and crafts, share some of our wonderful delicious bake goods, and we had a blast!

We are always reading new articles and headlines about various events and news in the food and beverage industry. Along with attending various food service events, conferences, and finding/creating new recipes, techniques, and gadgets.

Why Does Your Work Stand Out From Others Who Do What You Do?

Our work stands out, in that we not only cook and provide for our clients. We also teach our clients various skills, techniques, and information about the food we prepare.

What Do You Wish Customers Knew About You Or Your Profession?

We are passionate about what we do and we set ourselves to a high standard of service and dedication. There is nothing like sharing what we love with others. We love to prepare beautiful and delicious food, and we hope you love what we put into our creations.

What Advice Do You Have For A Customer Looking To Hire A Provider Like You? 

Don't let any provider persuade you from what you desire. If they can not provide exactly what you want, there is always someone else out there that can..... like us! Always ask lots of questions.

 

If You Were Advising Someone Who Wanted To Get Into Your Profession, What Would You Suggest?

I'd suggest either obtaining a position with a food service establishment (restaurant, catering, institution, etc.) or attend a culinary college/program.
